Another haul!

Well I seem to have been let loose in the shops again! I should not be aloud my bank card on pay day! I don't know what it is...and I hope it's not just me who suffers from this...but every time I get paid I have a huge urge to go and spend all my money! Lucky I didn't blow it all in one day, but I did pick up a few things that I thought I would share with you...enjoy :)

1. Roberto Cavalli...oh what a delight! This is one of my favourite perfumes, although me having a favourite fragrance is near on impossible as I struggle to pick from an endless list! As you can see the bottle on the picture is practically empty! I was in need of a new one so I picked up a new one to fill the fragrance shaped hole in my life, but I thought I would include a picture of my old bottle so you could see it in all it's glory! I love the packaging, it's gold galor with tiger print and a turquoise strip, a design that could have been a diaster! However the design is kept classy, elegant and fun to match the beautiful fragrance! Now sent is something that most bloggers find hard to describe, however... I work in a perfume shop so I like to think I have some knowledge on this topic. The fragrance includes pink pepper, orange floww and tonka. It's an amazing sweet sent so if you like fragrances such as black XS then this is definatly one you should try! And obviously I've found out the best place for you to buy it! At the moment the perfume shop have £10 off the 50ml which means you can grab a bottle for £38!!!! AND...if you spend over £30 at the perfume shop you can also grab a free gift as well! So go and get yourself one and smell amazing!

2. On the cheaper side of things I popped into primark and found the most amazing little rucksack, it has a snake skin leather look print on the front panel wich transforms this plain black bag into aiming quite adorable! The zip runs down the front wich although looks really cute, it does prove difficult to find things when in a rush! But hey ho, you win some you loose some and for £8 I definatly felt like I was winning when I picked this up. It's such a versatile piece that can either dress up a some what boring outfit or make someone look far more casual. I'm absolutely in love with in and I know I'll get a ton of use out of it!

3. While browsing through The sale in Zara I came across thing super cute naver crop top wich was reduced from £15.99 to £7.99! So I couldn't not buy it! The jersey material and tiny Pom poms made me fall instantly in love! It's super easy and comfortable to wear-being one of those tops you can chuck on with anything and still look amazing! It's really flowy and lightweight which is perfect for the Sumer and the heat wave we have been having over here in England. I can't wait to wear this over the summer, I think it will look great with a midi skirt on holiday and a pair of shorts at a festival!

4. A gift from my boyfriend at the airport and what an oozing gift it is! I had been pineing for this bag for this wash bag for a while now and although I don't use it as a wash bag a love of none the less. In actuall fact I take it everywhere I go with all my bits and bobs in that always end up at the bottom of your bag (hair clips and tissues ect) if your interested you can watch my "what's in my bag video" to find out what's in this little treasure :) I have the bag in cream with a rose gold bow at the top, it's absolutely adorable and bang on trend!

5. Now I can't lie, I go through books like there is no tomorrow! On Thursday I popped into water stones and picked up 2 knew books and although it's only Saturday I'm already 24 chapters into "the girl with all the gifts" and really enjoying it! The story was quite hard to follow at the beginning (but that may just be me) and I did find it quite hard to get into, however now I can't put the bloody thing down! It's so gripping and I can't wait to find out what happens next (although that may sound cheesy) I'm not going to give too much away but so far so good! Based on what I've read I would recommend this to all my friends! (And all of you because obviously I consider you to be friends as well!) the second book is "the shock of the fall" which I haven't stated yet, but I have a strong feeling it won't be long before I'm sinking my teeth into this one, I'll keep you updated!

6. A few beauty buys, nothing too interesting but things I love none the less. I was in need of a new foundation and instead of fussing over a new one, trying to find a colour that matches my forever changing skin tone and having to get used to a new product and the way it works I just settled for an old friend who I love dearly! The Rimmel wake me up foundation is one of my all time favourites, it is easy to apply and really does make you look more awake! 100% worth the hype! I grabbed two new nail varnishes, a matte one (Rhossili) wich I have to say I'm not all that pleased with, it was my first time trying out a matte nail varnish and I wasn't really that happy with the final result, just proves I'm a sucker for a shiny finish! So I just wacked a top coat on and I was good to go! Apart from the matteness (is that even a word) I love this nail varnish as the colour is so me. The second nail varnish I grabbed was just a normal Barry m one in the colour mint green, I haven't tried this one yet but I look forward to doing so as it is very rare that Barry m nail varnishes disopoint! I also grabbed some eyelashes from primark for a pound, they arnt in the packet any more as they are currently stuck to my eyes! I can't complain, for £1 they give me everything I could ask for! Finally I purchased the Bourjois Paris intuitive liner in black. I had heard the hype about this product so I thought I would jump on the band wagon! And OH MY GOD! Although it took abit of practice to find the best way to apply it, it was worth the small hassle! I have never found an eyeliner this good for such an afordable price! It's super black and allows you to create amazing cat eyes, oh and one more thing...it doesn't budge all day! Yep that's right! No clour trasfer or fading or cracking! NOTHING! I love it! Enough said!

7. Last but not least I finally got my hands on a wonderful ted baker bag! Isn't it beautiful? It matcheds my wash bag in a cream colour with a rose gold bow and I absolutely adore it, I can't really say much else about it. All you need to to is look at the pictures to appreciate it in all it's glory!

Garnier bliss

Scrolling through blog post after blog post based on these products drove me straight into boots to purchase them myself as I had heard such good things about them, and I have to say, I was not fooled! If anything these products don't get given enough praise!

The micellar water does an amazing job and is so cheap for such a large bottle-under £5! And now in boots you can get it at a reduced price of £3.33! Such a bargain buy for something this good! You only need to apply a small amount on a cotton pad before gliding across your face. The product feels lighter thean water on the skin, yet it still does everything it says on the tin. After removing all my make up, washing my face with various products and then  applying the micellar water all over my face its surprising how much make up and dirt ends up on the cotton pad- as disgusting as that sounds, its proof that this product really is that amazing! I now sleep easy knowing that my face is as clean as it can possibly be! As well as leaving me squeaky clean my face also feels ridiculously soft after using Garnier micellar water. when applying it feels so conditioning and good for my skin. So as you may have already guessed, im super glad i picked it up!

Now I've never really been one for eye make up removers, I've always been more of a face wipe kinda girl (SHOCK HORROR!) I know, I know I'm such a bad person- I'm just really lazy OK! But anyway I saw this Garnier eye make up remover in boots and thought I would give it a go. WOW was I impressed! I have never in my life taken my makeup off so easily and in such little time. You only need the tiniest amout on a cotton pad, wipe it over your closed eye 3-5 times and then BANG all make up is gone! You may or may not already know but I have really sensitive eyelashes (sound stupid right?) but my eyelashes have fallen out twice in my life- and they are starting to do it aging :( So its really important for me to find a product that not going to irritate them futher. This is it! Its amazing, it does the job, its soft on the skin and super easy to use! You want a final reason why I love this product so much? OK, OK, it has the cutest packaging ever, its in a relatively small transparent bottle with a purple tint, it super cute and I love it. You want a final reason why you should go and buy it right now? right now in boots it has £1.15 off! so after you have finished reading this post (because it would be rude to leave now right?) I want you all to flee to your local boots and pick it up.

I love the products I've picked up and over the moon that I purchased them.
let me know if you are using any of these, or if you have any amazing products that you are loving at thye moment.

Life in Lanzarote

Well a week away wasn't quite enough :( I just want to be back pool side basking in the glorious sunshine.

For those of you who don't know, about a month ago me and my boyfriend booked a last minute holiday to Lanzarote. I had such an amazing time and surprisingly we didn't end up killing eachother!

So here's what we got up to....

 1. Really bloody excited traveling to Gatwick airport on 29/05/2014 for our 3.35pm flight.

2. First day lounging by the pool with a ridiculous amount of cocktails and white wine spritzers.

3. First night out. River island play suit, newlook sandals and new look necklace.

4. Brave enough to jump in? I think I'll just dip my toes ft. Topshop bikini.

5. Poolside smiles. Topshop bikini and primark sunglasses.

6. Long Island Ice tea cocktail o'clock ft. an extremely oversized straw. I'm wearing a black and white play suit from Tesco.

7. He suck up on me and caught a snap. I'm wearing a black and pink bikini from asda and Primark sunglasses.

8. A beautiful sunrise.

9. We made friends with the boat trip staff, they were lovely and so was the trip!

10. Finally, on the last day we popped to the biggest market in Lanzarote, I brought some present for my family, we had a caricature drawn of the both of is and I reverted back to my childhood stages and got my hair braided with blue, purple and silver thread. Did anyone else have this done when then were younger?

I hope you enjoyed this post, if you want to see all the clothes I wore on holiday then you can check out my summer haul post :) follow me on twitter, Instagram and bloglovin', and feel free to chat to me at anytime.

My week in photos (2)

Hello lovelies :) I'm not going to lie, I've had a pretty boring week and I haven't really got much to show you but here you go anyway....
1. I spent most of my evenings snuggled up in bed with some good entertainment! You can't go wrong really can you!

2. Daniel took me out to TGI Fridays as a "well done" for passing me exams and I ate way to much food. I also had a passion fruit mock tail as I was driving and it was to die for!

3. As I have now finished my exams and I spend most of my days at home I decided to make a "to-do" list every day, it's really helped to get me organised. So if you are forgetful or you struggle to fine motivation to do things then stark making some "to-do" lists.

4. I went shopping in asda the other day to pick up a few bits for my holiday, nothing to exciting but they were toiletries I needed. I have already done a blog post on this, so if you want to find out more then go and check that out :)

5. I started packing for my holiday this week. I'm taking very small baby steps but I'm slowly getting there by doing a little bit each day :) this is all the make up that I am planning to take away with me :)

6. If I haven't mentioned it before- I have the most amazing boyfriend ever! We went shopping yesterday and he bought me the urban decay naked eye pallet as a "well doneL present for finishing my exams! I cannot stop saying thank you to him!

So that's my week in photos- I know it was nothing special but hopefully this well will have a little more to offer! Let me know of any future blog posts you would like to see in the comments :)

Until next time

Friday 20 June 2014

I cannot contain my excitement for my holiday next week and as my exams are now finished I can finally start getting organised! So today I took a little trip to asda to get some bog standard bits, nothing exciting but I thought I would share it with you as this is the type of thing I like to read :)

Firstly I picked up some sun tan lotion, I got this is factor 20 as I am quite lucky with my skin and it takes me a while to burn, however I still want to stay protected! To go with this I got a sun protecting lip balm also in factor 20 and some tanning oil in factor 30. Although I love a tan I also want to stay safe and keep my skin in a good and healthy condition. The last protecting product I picked up was a mini tube of sun cream in factor 30, I'll use this on my face and it's a perfect handbad size for if I'm going out on a day trip or something!

Next I got some simple kind to skin cleansing wipes and some tescos own hand wipes. I love using the simple ones on my face as I don't find them to harsh, I picked up the tescos own ones to put in my hand luggage in case I get into any sticky situations- literally!

The Niva regenerating after sun balm is by far my favourite! It has the most amazing smell, sinks into your skin super quick and doesn't leave you feeling sticky and gross! I cannot stress enough how much I love this product, plus it is so important to keep your skin moisturised if you spend the day in the sun. I take this away with me every year and this year will be no exception.

I have heard a lot of good things about the Garnier fresh eye make up remover so I thought I would give it ago and take it away with me. Normally I just use face wipes to remove my make up however I know that it's not good so I'm taking a step in the right direction and trying something new. I was undecided as to what product to buy, but with all the reviews I have read of this particular one, along with it's adorable purple packaging I opted for this :)

Big standard boring old deodorant, nothing now, nothing special. Everyone uses it...well at least I hope everyone does! Sure is my favourite brand as it lasts all day on me and I love the selection of fragrances they come in! I thought I would go for a compressed one just because it's easier to take away with me and it takes up less space in my suitcase.

Carex hand sanitiser is just something I'll pop in my hand luggage, so many people pass through the airport and I don't want to be catching a nasty bug while I'm away!

Finally I grabed some mentos, again these are just to pop in my hand luggage in case I fancy a soft mint, I have been addicted to them this month for some reason- I love being minty fresh!

So that's everything I picked up today at asda, I do also have some other bits that I'm taking away with me that u had previously bought and I still need to pick up a few things. So let me know of you would like to see a blog post or even a video on that? Or if you would like to see anything holiday related such as "what's in my hand luggage"

Until next time
